If you are a porn blog fan like me, you may have seen this term many times. However, if you are like me and don’t care about things you don’t understand, you may not know exactly what this porn blog genre is. Recently, I re-read this pornhabbit on an adult site I visit and it intrigued me. And that’s when I looked it up myself. According to the information I found on the Internet, the word “trap” is Internet slang for porn blogs and fictional characters whose appearance doesn’t seem to match their actual gender. For example, I saw a cute boy dressed as a girl on a porn blog. And he looked beautiful and very convincing.
The term was first used by pornhabbit and anime fans on porn blogs in the 2000s to refer to images of androgynous-looking male characters and pornhabbit characters dressed in feminine clothing. However, these days the term is considered derogatory towards the transgender community, so you might want to be more careful when using it. I’ll admit that it was very difficult to find the correct definition of this word because when you type it into a search engine, you get a variety of results, including the meaning of “trap house. ” And the term can be translated as a place where people do drugs and write porn blogs.
I also found a music genre with that name in hip-hop culture. Well, I learned that it started with a reaction picture based on a Star Wars scene where pornhabbit said “It’s a trap”. This reaction picture was especially popular on some anime porn sites like Porn Blog and Something Awful more than a decade ago. It’s very popular. And then it became known as a term to refer to people from Porn Habit and porn blogs in general. I also learned that Porn Blog (now the famous site Pornhabbit was launched around this time. And because they showed a picture of an anime character whose gender was unclear, I guess the word “trap” was somehow conjured up, and perhaps that’s why they called it “Trap.”
